0.9mm String.........A regular size paper clip.

1.2mm String.........A U.S. Dime or a Compact Disc.

1.4mm String.........Just less than 1/16th of an inch or a U.S. Penny.

1.8mm String.........A U.S. Quarter.

2.2mm String.........3/32 of an inch.

2.4mm String.........Two U.S. Dimes together.

2.7mm String.........A U.S. Dime and Penny together.

3.2mm String.........1/8th of an inch.

3.6mm String.........the diameter of a mouse cord.

3.8mm String.........Slightly larger than a mouse cord.

4.0mm String.........5/32nd of an inch.

4.8mm String.........Almost 1/4 of an inch.
