This updated metal bracket replaces the original plastic bracket that was used by Hunter Douglas for their Silhouette sheer shades. Hunter Douglas no longer uses this bracket, and the original bracket is no longer available.

The updated bracket is a direct replacement for the original bracket. The measurements and look of the updated bracket vary from the original, but the new bracket directly replaces the original bracket that was used from 1998 to August 2009.

The pictures of the original bracket are for comparison only. They are not available for purchase.

Note: It is best to replace all of the brackets on a single shade to make mounting it easier.

White metal with a plastic latch. Sold individually.

Hunter Douglas part numbers 4150241000, Kit 9125, and Kit 9126.

Window coverings that operate with continuous cord or bead chain loops pose a strangulation hazard to children.

  • Limiting access to the cord or bead chain loops is a simple way to make these window coverings safer for kids.

  • Free-hanging loops should be attached to the wall or floor using a tension device.
  • If your loop already uses a tension device, make sure that it is installed according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Make sure that tension devices are installed securely to the wall or floor using the appropriate fasteners and anchors.
  • Replace long loops with shorter ones.

  • It is safest to replace corded window coverings with cordless ones with inaccessible cords (look for the “Best for Kids” certification label) or remove them altogether.

  • Move all cribs, beds, furniture, and toys away from corded window coverings, especially in bedrooms and sleeping areas.
