How to Remove and Install Vertical Blind Vanes

Introduction
Whether you are installing vertical blind vanes or replacing them, these instructions will help you get the job done.
Tools Needed
A flat card (credit card, ID, or grocery store savings card).
Parts Needed
Vertical Blind Vane
Step 1 – Slide a flat card between the vane and hook side of the vane carrier.
Step 2 – Push up on the vane and then pull down to release it.
- The vane should pull out easily.
Step 3 – Install the vertical vane.
- Push the vertical vane up into the carrier clip and pull it down to make sure it seated.
Step 4 – Test your repair.
- Use the blinds operating system to move and tilt the slats.
