How to Remove and Replace a Vertical Blind
Introduction
Sometimes a vertical blind will need to be removed from its mounting brackets for a repair, painting, or window work. This guide covers how to remove and install a vertical blind.

Parts Needed
Step 1 – Remove the headrail from the brackets.
- Push up on the bracket tabs, and the headrail should come out. The bracket tabs are behind the back of the headrail.
Step 2 – Remount the headrail to the brackets
- Make sure the channel on the front of the headrail is seated in the hook of the bracket. Then rotate the headrail back until it snaps into place.
