Sometimes a shade needs to be removed from where it’s mounted for a repair, painting, or window work. This guide covers how to remove and install an EasyRise cellular honeycomb shade made by Hunter Douglas.

Tools Needed

Parts Needed

None

Step 1 – Raise the shade completely.

Step 2 – Remove the shade.

Using both hands, push the shade back and down, while rotating the top front of the headrail down towards you.
Lift the shade off of the bottom of the brackets.
