How to Replace a Magnet on a Vertiglide Vertical Cellular Shade
Introduction
These instructions demonstrate how to replace the magnet in your Vertiglide vertical honeycomb shade. You may have to replace your magnet if it has become damaged.
This guide covers shades made by Hunter Douglas between September 2004 and May 2015.

Step 1 – Loosen the cord tensioner in your headrail by sliding it away from the fabric stack.

- Use a Philips screwdriver to remove the end plate on the side opposite of the fabric.
Step 2 – Slide the fabric stack out of the open end of the headrail until the front end of the moving roller is exposed.

- Loosen the end cap with a flat-head screwdriver.
- Release the magnet and remove it.
Step 3 – Replace the magnet.

- Insert the magnet with the magnet cap back into the shade.
Step 4 – Slide the moving roller back into the headrail.

- Screw on the end plate.
- Adjust the tensioner.
Step 5 – Test your shade by opening and closing it.
