How to Set a Tilt Mechanism with an Internal Clutch
Introduction
Tilt mechanisms with internal clutches are designed to prevent the over-rotating of the mechanism’s gear causing premature part failure. This feature is available in some tilt mechanisms for mini, wood, faux wood, and Venetian blinds. Before installing a tilt mechanism with an internal clutch, it’s critical to set the gear properly so that the part will fully open and close the slats on your horizontal blind.
