This style limit stop was used on some older Hunter Douglas Silhouette sheer shades made before May 2008. It is no longer manufactured and is not available for purchase.

We carry a compatible replacement limit stop that works in its place.

Limit stops prevent the shade fabric from over-rolling on the metal tube at the top of the shade when the shade is raised.

This limit works on shades with the "Standard" end caps that measure 3" at the widest point.

This part works on a shade with a tube that looks like this:

Silhouette Sheer Shade URR Universal Rotator Rail

White plastic.

Window coverings that operate with continuous cord or bead chain loops pose a strangulation hazard to children.

  • Limiting access to the cord or bead chain loops is a simple way to make these window coverings safer for kids.

  • Free-hanging loops should be attached to the wall or floor using a tension device.
  • If your loop already uses a tension device, make sure that it is installed according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Make sure that tension devices are installed securely to the wall or floor using the appropriate fasteners and anchors.
  • Replace long loops with shorter ones.

  • It is safest to replace corded window coverings with cordless ones with inaccessible cords (look for the “Best for Kids” certification label) or remove them altogether.

  • Move all cribs, beds, furniture, and toys away from corded window coverings, especially in bedrooms and sleeping areas.
